Dinner and Sunset in Bodega Bay

It's the night at a restaurant called the Tides Wharf in Bodega Bay. There have been oysters, crab, smoked salmon, prawns, steamed clams, and delicious bread. There has been white wine. One glass. There has been exemplary service. A nice dinner to remember.

On the way back to the car my husband and I paused and watched the splendor of the sunset. The last light faded and drifted across the water - the low and quite in the coming darkness. I shivered once in the distance I heard a lonely cry of a bird. It seems like the world of the sleepless ghosts of Hitchcock's Birds is still there.

M.Y. China Restaurant at the Graton Resort & Casino is a Winner!

It is a quite Wednesday afternoon, and I am at the M.Y. China restaurant at the Graton Resort & Casino for a quick lunch, eating my favorite juicy pork dumplings. The dumplings are hot, fresh and delicious as always. For a quick lunch at the casino? Yes, if the casino is Graton and the restaurant is M.Y. China :)

Food to me is love and I am always looking for a restaurant ( like M.Y. China ) with a great sense of space and style that feels special, where the cooking is an art, and food is delicious.

Autumn in San Francisco

There is something both exciting and inspiring about walking the streets of San Francisco. There is that wave effect of the cheerful crowds. There is that easy-breezy chic and effortless elegance that makes San Francisco the Mecca of the Western style. You can see how the season's new look marries casual simplicity with downtown cool and plays with bold prints and patterns.

On a warm sunny day in October my friend and I made our way up the steepness of Telegraph Hill and down to Fisherman's Wharf. It was all so beautiful - the golden shower of sun beating down upon the magnificent downtown buildings, the spray of trees, quiet and tired after long summer, the fresh air and grace of San Francisco Bay.
